- 500g (1 lb) salmon belly
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions (for garnish)
Prepare the Marinade : In a bowl, combine soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, olive oil, and honey (if using). Mix well. Marinate the Salmon Belly : Place the salmon belly pieces in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes (optional). Heat the Pan : Heat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of oil to prevent sticking. Cook the Salmon Belly : Place the marinated salmon belly in the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Garnish and Serve : Transfer the salmon belly to a serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot with rice, salad, or your favorite side dish.
