Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries and sugar (or honey). Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds (optional).
  • In a glass, mix the strawberry puree with cold milk. Stir well to combine.
  • Add vanilla extract if desired for extra flavor.
  • Serve chilled over ice, or refrigerate for 10 minutes before drinking.
