- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons water, if needed
For Garnishing
- Sesame seeds

Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken wings completely dry using paper towels. Removing excess moisture is important because it helps the wings become crisp in the air fryer.Place the wings in a large bowl and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss well until every wing is evenly coated.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for approximately 3–5 minutes, depending on your air fryer model.Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.
Air Fry the Wings
Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding, as proper air circulation is essential for crispy wings.Air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes, turning or shaking the wings halfway through cooking. The wings should become golden brown and crispy.
Prepare the Korean Sauce
While the wings are cooking, combine the gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar in a small saucepan.Cook over low heat for approximately 3–5 minutes, stirring continuously until the sauce becomes smooth, warm, and slightly thickened. Add a little water if the sauce becomes too thick.
Coat the Wings
Once the chicken wings are fully cooked and crispy, transfer them to a large mixing bowl.Pour the warm Korean sauce over the wings and toss gently until every piece is beautifully coated.
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle the wings with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.Serve immediately while the wings are hot, crispy, sticky, and delicious.
