Persian-style Tomato Avocado Salad, often known as "Shirazi Salad," is a refreshing and vibrant dish that combines the flavors of tomatoes, avocados, onions, and fresh herbs. Here's a simple recipe for making this delicious salad

- 2 large tomatoes, diced
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped mintJuice of 1-2 limes or lemons
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, diced avocado, chopped red onion, diced cucumber, chopped parsley, and chopped mint.
In a small bowl, whisk together the lime or lemon juice and olive oil. You can adjust the ratio of citrus juice and olive oil based on your taste preferences.
Pour the lime or lemon dressing over the salad ingredients.
Gently toss the salad to coat all the ingredients with the dressing. Be careful not to mash the avocado.
Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste. Start with a small amount and adjust as needed.
