Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kodiak Cakes Power Cakes mix (any flavor)
  • 3/4 cup milk (or water for fewer calories)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil (optional, for richer waffles)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for flavor)
  • Cooking spray or additional butter for waffle iron

Instructions

Preheat the Waffle Iron:

  • Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Lightly grease with cooking spray or melted butter.

Mix the Batter:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the Kodiak Cakes mix, milk, egg, melted butter (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined; the batter will be slightly thick.

Cook the Waffles:

  • Pour the batter onto the preheated waffle iron, spreading it evenly. Close the lid and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the waffle is golden brown and cooked through.

Serve Hot:

  • Carefully remove the waffle and repeat with the remaining batter. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • Adjust the liquid amount for thicker or thinner waffles: 3/4 cup for standard, less for thicker, or more for thinner.
  • For extra protein, add a tablespoon of Greek yogurt or protein powder to the batter.
