- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix the almond butter (or peanut butter), brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add Dry Ingredients: Stir in the baking soda and salt, then fold in the chocolate chips. Form Dough Balls: Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and slightly golden. Cool: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
