Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp soy sauce (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat

  • the oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a pan/grill over medium-high heat.

Pat dry

  • the chicken breasts with a paper towel.

Season

  • the chicken by mixing olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a bowl. Coat the chicken evenly.

Cook the chicken:

    For baking:

    • Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 15-18 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

    For grilling:

    • Grill each side for 6-7 minutes until fully cooked.

    For pan-searing:

    • Cook for 5-6 minutes per side in a hot pan until golden brown and cooked through.

    Rest the chicken

    • for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.

      Notes

      • Marinate the chicken for up to 24 hours for enhanced flavor.
      • Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
      • For extra tenderness, pound the chicken to an even thickness before cooking.
