This Mango Habanero Sauce is the perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and fiery flavors. Great as a dip, marinade, or glaze, it adds a delicious kick to your favorite dishes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 2-3 habanero peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup water (adjust for consistency)

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, heat a little oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Add diced mangoes, habanero peppers, vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper.
  • Stir and let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes until the mangoes soften.
  • Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Blend the mixture until smooth, adding water as needed for the desired consistency.
  • Stir in lime juice and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Transfer to a jar and refrigerate before serving.

Notes

  • For a milder sauce, use fewer habanero peppers or remove all seeds.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or a touch of sugar if needed.
