  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons milk (if needed for consistency)

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper designed for air fryers or use a perforated parchment liner.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them in the basket, leaving space between each cookie bite.
  • Air fry for 7–9 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden while the centers remain soft.
  • Allow the cookie bites to cool in the basket for 3–5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  • Serve warm with a glass of milk or your favorite hot beverage.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Cookie bites continue to firm up as they cool.
  • Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model.
  • Use room-temperature butter for easier mixing.
  • Chill the dough for 15 minutes if it's too soft.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Freeze unbaked dough balls for up to 3 months.
  • Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.
