Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves or 3 whole cloves

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft.
  • Stir in brown sugar and allow it to caramelize.

  • Season with salt and pepper.
