Ingredients
  

  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • cup flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven:
    Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the Chicken:
    In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
    Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
  • Bake the Chicken:
    Arrange the chicken in a greased baking dish and drizzle melted butter over it.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Add the Creamy Sauce:
    Pour the chicken broth and heavy cream over the partially baked chicken.
    Bake for another 30 minutes until the chicken is tender and golden brown.
  • Rest and Serve:
    Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.
    Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or Amish-style buttered noodles.

Notes

  • You can substitute heavy cream with milk and a little butter for a lighter version.
  • For a crispier texture, broil the chicken for the last 5 minutes.
