Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • First, dissolve sugar in warm water in a large bowl.
  • Next, stir in yeast and let it activate for 5–10 minutes.
  • Then, add salt and vegetable oil to the mixture.
  • Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes.
  • Place dough in a greased bowl and cover it.
  • Allow it to rise until doubled in size.
  • Punch down the dough and divide into two portions.
  • Shape into loaves and place in greased pans.
  • Let the dough rise again until puffy.
  • Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes until golden.
  • Remove from oven and brush with butter if desired.
