- 1/2 cup apple butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
Place the ham in a roasting pan with the flat side down. Score the surface in a diamond pattern.
In a small bowl, combine apple butter, honey, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper. Mix well.
Brush the glaze generously over the ham, covering all sides.
Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
Remove the foil and brush additional glaze on the ham every 20 minutes.
Bake uncovered for another 30 minutes, until the glaze is caramelized and the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
Remove from the oven and let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
