Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • Spring onions or sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
  • Add onions and bell peppers; stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
  • Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  • Add cornstarch slurry if a thicker sauce is desired.
  • Cook for another 2–3 minutes until everything is well coated.
  • Garnish with spring onions or sesame seeds and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • Fresh peppers give the best crunch and flavour.
  • Adjust soy sauce for salt preference.
  • Can be served over rice or noodles.
  • Best enjoyed fresh and hot.
