- 8 oz noodles (lo mein, egg noodles, or rice noodles)
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1/2 cup onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Asian Zing sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds & chopped spring onions for garnish
Cook Noodles:Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Prepare Chicken:In a pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly golden. Stir-Fry Vegetables:Add onions, peppers, and carrots. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp. Add Aromatics:Stir in garlic and ginger. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Make the Sauce:In a bowl, mix soy sauce, Asian Zing sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Pour over the chicken and vegetables. Combine with Noodles:Add cooked noodles to the pan. Toss until evenly coated with sauce. Garnish & Serve:Sprinkle sesame seeds and spring onions before serving hot.
