Ingredients
  

  • 300g penne pasta
  • 250g Italian sausage (crumbled or sliced)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Cook penne in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion until soft.
  • Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the sauce mixture.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
