  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 scoop chocolate ice cream
  • 1 scoop strawberry ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry sauce

  • Chopped nuts (optional – peanuts or almonds work best)
  • 3 maraschino cherries
  • Sprinkles (optional)

🍫 Sauce Swaps: Use caramel, fudge, or peanut butter sauce as alternatives.
🥥 Tropical Style: Add shredded coconut and swap pineapple for mango chunks.
🍓 Fruit Boost: Top with fresh berries or sliced kiwi for extra freshness.

Notes

Prepare the Banana:

  • Peel the banana and cut it lengthwise into two halves.
  • Gently place the two halves on either side of a long serving dish (like a banana boat or sundae dish).

 Add the Ice Cream:

  • Place three scoops of ice cream between the banana halves:
  • One vanilla in the center,
  • One chocolate on the left,
  • One strawberry on the right.
  • Make sure they’re snug and stable.

 Add Toppings:

  • Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the chocolate scoop.
  • Drizzle strawberry sauce over the strawberry scoop.
  • Spoon crushed pineapple over the vanilla scoop.
  • Add whipped cream generously on top of each scoop.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts and sprinkles (if using) over the whipped cream.
  • Finally, top each scoop with a maraschino cherry.

 Serve Immediately:

  • Serve your banana split immediately before the ice cream melts. Provide a long spoon for easy digging!
