Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 3 pounds chicken thighs, drumsticks, or mixed pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

For the BBQ Sauce

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken dry and rub with olive oil. Season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator for enhanced flavor.
  • In a small bowl, combine barbecue sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Heat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
  • Place chicken on the grill and cook for 25–30 minutes, turning occasionally. During the final 10 minutes, brush generously with barbecue sauce.
  • Continue brushing with sauce while grilling until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Transfer to a serving platter, garnish with parsley and lemon wedges, and serve hot.
