Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or stew meat
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp potatoes, diced (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Sauté the beef: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or stew meat and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Add aromatics: Stir in onions, carrots, and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Build the broth: Pour in beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Stir well.
  • Add cabbage: Stir in chopped cabbage and potatoes (if using).
  • Simmer: Cover and let the soup simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the vegetables are tender and flavors are well combined.
  • Taste and adjust: Adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Serve: Ladle into bowls and enjoy!

  • Use lean ground beef or stew meat for the best texture.
  • Add extra vegetables like bell peppers or green beans for more nutrients.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
