Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails (4-6 oz each)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the lobster tails: Using kitchen scissors, cut through the top shell lengthwise, stopping at the tail fin. Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell.
  • Make the garlic butter: In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Preheat the broiler: Set your oven to broil and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  • Brush the lobster tails: Generously coat the lobster meat with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Broil the lobster tails: Place them on a baking sheet and broil for 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and slightly golden on top.
  • Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Use fresh lobster tails for the best flavor, but frozen tails can be used if thawed properly.
  • Keep an eye on the lobster while broiling to avoid overcooking.
