Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium green tomatoes
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornmeal
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

  • Slice the Tomatoes
    Wash and dry the green tomatoes. Slice them into ½-inch thick rounds. Pat them dry with paper towels.
