Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a cast-iron skillet inside to heat up.
In a blender, combine flour, milk, eggs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Blend until smooth.
Carefully remove the hot skillet from the oven and add butter, letting it melt.
Pour the batter into the skillet and quickly add the cooked sausage and cheese on top.
Place the skillet back in the oven and bake for 18–20 minutes until puffed and golden.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
Notes
The Dutch baby will deflate slightly after removing from the oven, which is normal.
