Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lare onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or seafood stock)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 5 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  • Stir in all the dry seasonings: paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay, chili powder, black pepper, and sugar. Cook for 2 minutes to toast the spices.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  • Simmer the sauce on low heat for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Remove from heat and let the sauce rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite seafood!

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by reducing cayenne pepper or adding more hot sauce.
  • For a richer flavor, use seafood stock instead of chicken broth.
  • Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
