Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 100 g blue cheese (such as Gorgonzola or Roquefort), crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into small squares or circles.
  • Lightly score a border around each piece and prick the center with a fork.
  • Arrange pear slices neatly inside the scored border.
  • Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese evenly over the pears.
  • Season lightly with black pepper and drizzle with olive oil or brush edges with butter.
  • Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
  • Remove from oven, drizzle with honey if using, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve warm.
