Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

For the Boom Boom Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Instructions
 

  • Preparing the Sauce
    In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, sweet chili sauce, honey, and lime juice. Set aside.
  • Preparing the Shrimp
    In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
    Dip each shrimp into the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
    Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
    Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Assembling the Dish
    Toss the fried shrimp with the Boom Boom sauce until evenly coated.
    Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions, alongside lime wedges.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, bake or air-fry the shrimp at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
