For the Fish
- 1½ lb (700 g) firm white fish fillets, such as cod, haddock, halibut, mahi-mahi, or sea bass
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
For the Stew
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced

Prepare the Fish
Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels.Cut them into large, evenly sized chunks. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and lime juice.Set aside while you prepare the stew.
Add Garlic and Peppers
Add the minced garlic, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper.Cook for approximately 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers begin to soften.
Add Tomatoes
