Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  • Cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Do not overbake; brookies should stay fudgy inside.
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes if you prefer thicker cookies.
  • Add nuts or caramel chips for extra flavor.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
