For Meatloaf:
- 500g ground beef (or beef & pork mix)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For Brown Sugar Glaze:
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a greased baking dish.
Mix brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, and vinegar until smooth.
Bake the meatloaf for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread glaze evenly over the top.
Return to oven and bake for another 25 minutes until fully cooked and caramelized.
