For the Brownie Layer
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
For the Marshmallow Layer
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
For the Chocolate Frosting
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¼ cup milk
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Remove brownies from the oven and immediately sprinkle miniature marshmallows evenly over the top.
Return the pan to the oven for 2–3 minutes until the marshmallows become soft and puffy.
Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely before frosting.

Spread the chocolate frosting evenly over the marshmallow layer.
