- 1 can (40 oz) Bruce's Yams, drained
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional, for topping)
3. Make the Sauce :
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and salt.
Pour the mixture evenly over the yams and gently toss to coat.
4. Add Toppings :
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the yams for added crunch (optional).
If using marshmallows, add them during the last 5 minutes of baking.
