- 3 cups chopped cabbage
- 250g ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 4 cups vegetable or beef broth
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme or oregano
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Heat oil in a large pot. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until soft and fragrant.
Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
Stir in chopped cabbage and cook for about 5–7 minutes until slightly softened.
Add broth, tomato sauce, tomato paste, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Cover and simmer for 25–30 minutes until cabbage is tender and flavors blend.
Stir in cooked rice and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
