- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the Seafood: Pat the salmon fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cook the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Stir for 30 seconds, then add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Add Lemon: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and shrimp. Sprinkle with lemon zest and garnish with parsley if desired.
Serve: Arrange the salmon and shrimp on a plate and serve with your favorite side dishes.
