Ingredients
  

  • 500g fresh calamari (cleaned and sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Clean and slice calamari into rings. Pat dry to remove excess moisture.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a pan. Add garlic and onion, cooking until soft and fragrant.
  • Add calamari to the pan and sauté for 2–3 minutes until just tender (do not overcook).
  • Pour in white wine and simmer for 2–3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Simmer gently until sauce thickens.
  • Add parsley and adjust seasoning. Serve warm with bread, pasta, or rice.
