Instructions
 

  • Build a medium campfire and allow it to burn until hot coals develop.

  • Transfer the cooked meat to a plate and keep warm.
  • Lightly butter the English muffins and toast them in the skillet until golden brown.
  • Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese over each egg during the final minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
  • Assemble each sandwich by placing bacon or sausage on the bottom half of an English muffin.
  • Top with tomato, spinach, avocado, or other desired toppings.
  • Cover with the remaining English muffin half.
  • Serve immediately while warm.
