Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups seedless green or red grapes
  • 1 cup champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (plus more for coating)
  • Optional: 1 tbsp honey or corn syrup for extra sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly, leaving them slightly damp for coating later.
  • Place the grapes in a bowl and pour champagne over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Drain the grapes and lightly pat dry to remove excess champagne.
  • Roll the grapes in granulated sugar until fully coated.
  • Spread them on a parchment-lined tray and let dry for 15–20 minutes.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Use chilled champagne for best flavor absorption.
  • Substitute sparkling cider for a non-alcoholic version.
  • The sugar coating can be fine or coarse depending on preference.
