- 2 cups seedless green or red grapes
- 1 cup champagne or sparkling wine
- 1 cup granulated sugar (plus more for coating)
- Optional: 1 tbsp honey or corn syrup for extra sweetness
- Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly, leaving them slightly damp for coating later. 
- Place the grapes in a bowl and pour champagne over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. 
- Drain the grapes and lightly pat dry to remove excess champagne. 
- Roll the grapes in granulated sugar until fully coated. 
- Spread them on a parchment-lined tray and let dry for 15–20 minutes. 
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. 
- Use chilled champagne for best flavor absorption.
- Substitute sparkling cider for a non-alcoholic version.
- The sugar coating can be fine or coarse depending on preference.
- For extra sparkle, mix edible glitter with sugar.
