Ingredients
  

For the Carrot Cake Layer:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 200 g cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).Line a square baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.In another bowl, whisk sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla.Combine wet and dry ingredients.Fold in grated carrots.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth.Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, mixing until creamy.
  • Pour carrot cake batter into the pan.Spread cheesecake mixture over the top.Swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect (optional).
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until set.Cool completely before slicing into bars.
