Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2–3 jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for topping
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix cream cheese with chopped jalapeños; set aside.
  • Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions and flatten them into thin patties.
  • Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on four patties, then top each with another patty, sealing the edges.
  • Grill or pan-fry the burgers over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  • Add cheddar cheese on top (optional) and let it melt.
  • Toast the buns lightly, then assemble burgers with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Serve hot.
