For the Base:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter (cold, cubed)
- 1 egg
- 2–3 tbsp cold water
- Pinch of salt
For Filling:
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
- 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 tbsp butter or oil
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For Cheese Mixture:
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
- ½ cup cream or milk
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cut in butter until crumbly.Add egg and water to form dough.
Roll out and press into a greased baking dish.Pre-bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
Heat butter or oil in a pan.Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
Stir in chicken, herbs, salt, and pepper.Cook for 3–4 minutes and set aside.
In a bowl, whisk eggs and cream.Add shredded cheese and Parmesan.Mix well.
Spread chicken-mushroom mixture over the base.Pour cheese mixture evenly on top.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes or until golden and set.
