Ingredients
  

For the Base:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup butter (cold, cubed)
  • 1 egg
  • 2–3 tbsp cold water
  • Pinch of salt

For Filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Cheese Mixture:

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mix)
  • ½ cup cream or milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Cut in butter until crumbly.Add egg and water to form dough.
  • Roll out and press into a greased baking dish.Pre-bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes.
  • Heat butter or oil in a pan.Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
  • Stir in chicken, herbs, salt, and pepper.Cook for 3–4 minutes and set aside.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs and cream.Add shredded cheese and Parmesan.Mix well.
  • Spread chicken-mushroom mixture over the base.Pour cheese mixture evenly on top.
  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes or until golden and set.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing.Serve warm.
