Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 ½ cups pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • ½ cup pepperoni or preferred toppings
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella directly into the skillet to form a cheesy base.
  • Spread the dough evenly over the melted cheese.
  • Flip once to crisp both sides, then add sauce on top of the dough.

  • Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese bubbles.
  • Garnish with basil before serving.
