Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano or thyme
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.
  • Add diced potatoes and stir well. Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Pour in milk or cream and let it simmer until potatoes are tender.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  • Cover and cook until the cheese melts completely.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
