For the Chicken
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Cherry Bomb Glaze
- 1 cup cherry preserves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Combine cherry preserves, soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and red pepper flakes in the same skillet.
Cook the sauce for 3–5 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
Return the chicken to the skillet.
Spoon the glaze over each piece until evenly coated.
Cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
