Ingredients
- 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping, thawed
- ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for garnish (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Drain the crushed pineapple thoroughly to remove excess liquid.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cherry pie filling and drained crushed pineapple.
- Sprinkle the instant vanilla pudding mix over the fruit mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the thawed whipped topping until smooth and evenly combined.
- Add the mini marshmallows and gently mix.
- If using, fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts and shredded coconut.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend and the marshmallows to soften.
- Before serving, gently stir the Cherry Fluff and garnish with maraschino cherries and fresh mint if desired.
