Ingredients
  

For the Crust :

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

For the Creamy Filling :

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)

For the Cherry Topping :

  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

Prepare the Crust :

  • In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish to form an even layer
  • Place the crust in the refrigerator to set while preparing the filling.

Make the Creamy Filling :

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  • Fold in the whipped topping gently until fully combined.

Assemble the Layers :

  • Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  • Add the cherry pie filling on top, spreading it out evenly.
  • Top with the remaining cream cheese mixture, smoothing it out with a spatula.

Chill and Serve :

  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to set.
  • Slice into squares and serve. Optionally, garnish with extra whipped topping or fresh cherries.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened to ensure a smooth filling.
  • You can substitute the cherry pie filling with other fruit fillings like blueberry or strawberry.
