Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, etc.)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the Filling:
    In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Make the Biscuit Topping:
    In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter and milk, stirring until just combined.
  • Assemble the Cobbler:
    Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture evenly over the chicken filling.
  • Bake:
    Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Cool and Serve:
    Let the cobbler cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom for a different flavor.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker prep time.
  • Add fresh herbs like parsley or rosemary for extra flavor.
