- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, etc.)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 tbsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup milk
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Make the Biscuit Topping: In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter and milk, stirring until just combined. Assemble the Cobbler:Drop spoonfuls of the biscuit mixture evenly over the chicken filling. Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Cool and Serve: Let the cobbler cool for 5 minutes before serving.
