Ingredients
  

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional for heat)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Marinade
    In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, pepper, salt, oregano, and chili powder.
  • Marinate the Chicken
    Add drumsticks to the marinade. Coat well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for deeper flavour.
  • Preheat the Grill
    Heat the grill to medium-high. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  • Grill the Drumsticks
    Place drumsticks on the grill. Cook for 20–25 minutes, turning every 5 minutes for even cooking.
  • Check for Doneness
    The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). Juices should run clear when pierced.
  • Serve Hot
    Transfer to a platter and serve immediately with your favourite dipping sauce or salad.

Notes

  • Adjust spice levels to your preference by adding or reducing chili powder.
  • Works well on outdoor grills, stovetop grills, or even in the oven.
  • For extra smokiness, add wood chips to the grill.
