Instructions
In a bowl, combine olive oil, Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked.
Warm the pita bread in a dry pan or microwave.
Assemble the gyros by spreading tzatziki sauce on each pita, then adding the cooked chicken, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and feta cheese.
Wrap the pita and enjoy your homemade Chicken Gyros!
Notes
For an authentic taste, marinate the chicken overnight. You can also grill the chicken for a smoky flavor.
