Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked breaded chicken (leftover, frozen, or rotisserie)
  • 8 slices thick-cut bread
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • Fresh basil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of each bread slice.
  • Place 4 slices butter-side down on the skillet.
  • Add mozzarella, Parmesan, warm chicken pieces, and a spoonful of marinara on each slice.
  • Top with more cheese and the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
  • Cook until the bottom is golden and cheese begins to melt, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Flip carefully and cook the other side until toasted and melty.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
