Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (optional)
  • 1/3 cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients:
    Wash and chop the broccoli into small florets. Cook the bacon until crispy and crumble it.
  • Mix the Dressing:
    In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
  • Combine the Salad:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, bacon, cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, and raisins.
  • Add the Dressing:
    Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
  • Chill (Optional):
    For best results, cover and refrigerate the salad for at least an hour to let the flavors meld together.
  • Serve and Enjoy:
    Serve cold and enjoy as a side dish or a light meal.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice to the dressing for extra tang.
