Chocolate-Covered Matzo – A Sweet and Crunchy Passover

Shruthi
Chocolate-Covered Matzo is a sweet dessert made by layering caramel and chocolate over crispy matzo crackers. The caramel is usually made with butter and brown sugar, creating a rich toffee flavor. Melted chocolate is spread on top and sometimes sprinkled with nuts or sea salt. Once cooled, the dessert hardens into crunchy pieces that resemble chocolate bark. It is easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. This treat is commonly served during Passover but can be enjoyed any time of the year.
