For Choux Pastry
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- Pinch of salt
For Chocolate Cream Filling
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, combine water, milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Add flour all at once and stir vigorously until dough forms and pulls away from sides.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth and glossy.
Pipe oval shapes for bodies and thin lines for necks.
Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and cocoa until stiff peaks form.
Fill centers with chocolate cream.
Insert necks into the filling.
Place wings on each side to create swan shape.
